yes! i pass out finally! the passing out parade was great and ceremonious! the sense of pride and the adrenaline rush when we march in... as so many people watchin... everyone there to see us... the feeling was indescrible... my mum and dad came 2 watch as well... arms still aching... those rifles are damn heavy... with bayonet and magazine... but alot of hard work was put in... we were in our white t-shirt practising since 8 plus in the morning under RSM De Silva... till my shirt turned brownish becos of the rifle oil... alot of drilling and rehearsing... alot of pressure... after lunch was better... 2LT ZUL was supportive and gave us encouragement and feedback on our drill... improved a lot... den we had a few rehearsels wif the band and supporting contingents before finalli at around 5pm... went to change to our Full No.1 and get ourselves ready... 6 plus fall in get ready... attire check... we march to take position at Form Up Positon(FUP)... countdown to the parade... our parade as CLts graduands... supporting contigent march in first... finally.. our turn... the Guard of Honour to march in... we wished each other all the best... we marched in wif gusto... i thought the feeling of nervousness would overwhelm me... but i focused... nothing went wrong... a great job by all of us... marched in proudly... i could see my dad somewhere nearas we marched but he couldnt see me... becos i was too short and was standing at 2nd column... sumore we march in 6 instead of the usual 3... very big as a guard of honour contingent... i was in Alpha contigent... the first to march in follow by Bravo GOH contingent... after the sppeches and prize giving and all the hormat... itx time for us to march pass... went back 245 return arms... people start celebrate liao... but LTA JOel call us shut up and hurry up.. so we hurry up went 2 MPH... our parents supposed 2 don our ranks. but so cram. i was right behind... lucky my parents saw me... after then salute... before the RSM announce... ' ladies and gentlemen, we present to u the 48th CLTs' wah... all celebrate like siao! the atmosphere... fantastic! all were so happy.. started cheering and singing... woohox! den took so many pix... sabo our syndicate instructor and camp oic... and THNX to those who sang that birthdae song... and to those who sabo me with that solid Kiwi... next time i'll get u during ur birthdae... den earlier the next dae.. at bout 1245am... they woke us up... sae got endurance night... treated us so fiercely... scream scream... den inside the threatte.. got powerpoint slide.. ' WELCOME 2 HELL" den it turned out actually its a trick for the instructors! '( we were told before hand for this trick..)" its our turn 2 take our revenge! we all pour water/ powder at our instructors! after a while... the SAF officer also we sabo... all was wet... we played alil game b4 went bact to sleep... lucky i was not that wet... so can straight sleep... now at home... lookin back i felt i come a long way.. never would i thought i will come this far in NCC... so thx to those who kept me alive and encourage evryone to survive in this course...
