woah. 3 daes in ubin. but this tym reali in survival mode. rules are, trek with half the weight of ourselves worth of bags on our bags and only camps in jungle. well went to ubin with TEAM. TEAM consists of tengku ezad, khairul Pak tam and another khairul sulaiman, stands for trekkers, explorers, adventurers and moutaineers. so me and khairul went with them. and i should sae a camp organised by this three youth in name of fun reli went well. we had lotsa fun and and motivated each other. the two khai's in TEAM were from ncc, one from ncc northland one from fajar ncc, now both in same skool werks in an external adventure camps agency. they have variuous knowledge on ropes, climbing, trekking, kayaking and survival cos they are paid for that went through knowledge of theirs and have led numerous grp in lots of adventure camps, be it singapore or malaysia. tengku instills more on the leadership and some known skills by him for their TEAM and plans and motivates a lot. he's the motivator of their adventure team. so this tym they made a survival camp in ubin, and we tagged along. so with GORETex boots, we started off. first dae after buying rations and istributing among ourselves, we trek in the nite. no lights. the two khai's led us all the way up thru the jungle to the summit or highest point of ubin, which has a scenic view of the ubin island itself and the quarry. we chilled there for a nite, talked, listen to the music with loudspeakers and took pic of the scenery and us. then 2nd dae, started trekking at 12. till arnd 2. had a major pit stop at mamam beach to do stuffs and worst our water stock was only left with 2 bottles. so used ubin water, boiled and use a purifier pill. but smth funny happened there. khairul nyer boot went into the sea at mamam. and tengku was brave enuff to fite the strong current and got it with help of pak tam. and there was funny cliche. everythg caught in a video. reali. then trek in jungle. this tym all with woods cos we saw a lot of wild boars. big ones sia. found a spot in the jungle and camped. then get our site ready. sit and chilled near the fire. but one of us was kinda 'disturbed' by something there. u knoe i knoe. but ok la. by this tym all were dehydrated. cos our water supplies went bizarre. got some parasite growing in our water. but some of us went on to use it and to cook. desperate oready wut. sat down. on music. debrief of the camp, opinions on it all. at this tym all of us took the tym to understand more of each other. wut were our first impressions of each other, and after this camp. then all 5 slept in 1 tent. kiak tengku tido. hahaha. solid fuel mau RATION. hahaha. next day, we got ready and trek to jetty arnd 11 am. after hydrating ourselves, reached changi at 11+. went to the beach and swim!! fuh best sak the feeling. after 2 nights of no bathing. then went home. . | ||
