ok im just back from kallang. yar just join orchestra melayu singapura recently abt 3 weeks ago. playing drums. for leisure only lar. i wanna have experience playing in a symphonic band, and since im malay why not the malay orchestra. naikkan lagu tradisonal melayu apart from the punkrocks and emocores song ive been playing the moment i started playing drums. fauzi and yazid introduce me to it. oklah but i prefer last week'sconductor. he was more motivating than this week's. this week's conductor more to the sindir2 side if we play wrong or doesn't mean his requirement. but so far so good. only sometimes im slow at side reading the notes. lucky got like 4-5 drummers now including me. and i can only play the drumset so i got time to read the scores slowly and decipher them. but sometimes quite boring to wait for ur turn. cos the other 2 drumeers can play other percussion like congo, while the other drummer play. so im like the only one sitting there reading my notes but not playing for the song. but when comes my turn, how i wish it wasnt mine. its like, drums the rhythm, if u cock it up, the whole orchestra looks at you while the conductor comments. but nevermind. everyday's a new learning experience for me. ok im off. very2 tired so bye. tmrw going ncc somemore. ok bye. ive got addicted with ritchie valens song sak! . | ||
