herm. so its back to skool tmrw. was quite heavy hearted to leave my attachment on friday. its like 2 months of bapak2-ness. though some moments were boring, it was an eye opener to the type of life i'll enjoy if i choose to continue this line. site life to me is something i have quite an interest. so most prob i'll choose this line. on fri, the last day, i followed thye, the young engineer to another site beside our's. it was a 25 story condo in the making. but work stooped due to the increase in the sand price. well so i was given a task to take picture-an overview picture of the site. so had to go to higher ground level. and that condo site was just the place. so since our RE knew the guys there, excess was easy. but the journey was not. well at least for me. took a type of leaf where the doors are being opush to close, and the braking system. mak oi. bleh mcm nak pitam. and imagine the horror, to take that pic, have to climb to a scaffold at the 25th level. imagine scaffold. knn. how to? look down, and its one LONG LONG LONG way to hell down there. lucky for me the engineer told me to just wait. he'll go climb. so he and a bangle safety worker climb that wood scaffold. yah i know they're all approved safety tag. but its made out of wood dammit, anythg can fucken happen. but oh well, if i had to climb, i think i wud la. better conquer the fear now than waiting till next time. but i think the engineer oso know la if i fall no insurance liao! hahahaha. oh well whatever it is, my attachment life's done. got a few namecards which may help me next time i hope. im looking forward to working with them. so the nexty time i pass by CTE, im sure to look out for the australian international school. i may not be in the sub/superstructure stage of the project. but i was all the way through there for the piling stage-which is the most important. so at least if the building goes up, ill feel a bit sastisfied too. hahahahaha anyway back to seeing kiasu ppl fighting for seats in train tomorrow again. gd nite! . | ||
