caught harry potter and the order of the phoenix with yazid, kahirul and taufiq yesterday. and serious i was NOT impressed. as in the big N.O.T. i didnt beleieve at first when syarif said that is was not impressing this time round, cos its like one of the more important series if u read the book. where all the action starts, where u can reli start seeing dumbledore duelling and that voldemort shit arising to power. but the movie, yes, it managed to tell the viewers that. but not making an impact. i think the director was relying on the faith that harry potter himself has the name well lnown everywhere that he had forgotten the one thing about making a movie- the damn fucking impact u have to your viewers. important parts in the book was either cut off, sawn off or made it look unimportant to viewers at home. and i swear yazid slept in the movie, and he as the view of a non-reader of the book, said that it was plain. so u'll guess how the readers wud feel. the only part i looked forward, after being dissapointed at the half mark of the movie was the duel of the kids, and the order with the death eaters as well as the duel of dumbledore in the ministry of magic with voldemort. but it looked more like starwars seriously lasting for a mere 5 mins for each sections respectively.
