ok that was the last of our kallang stadium. soon its gonna be demolished away along with the wonderful memories and kallang roars with it, its quite sad. anewae singapore put quite a tough fite. it took the australian a more than 50 mins to concede thru thier first goals. and singapore's attempt to me for goals, was far better. but they lost due to the keeper. the goalie didnt perform well that much. i doubt it was lionel lewis, cos of the way he took the goal kick. but i was far from my seat, so i cant determine that well, and i miss the player's name announcing part. the veterans match was more relaxed, cos of course la, they're old oready sia. alas, stamina may rust, but not the skills. and being in the civil and structural line, of course, its sure sad to say goodbye to the wonderful structure. so this entry is a tribute to the columns, beams, trusses, tensions, forces, soils, concretes, pilings of the stadium that held it up strong for nearly 4 decades. =D on the contrary, went to bovis site today after so long. fairuz drove his brothers car. aku rase aku tgk dier bawak manual, aku dah lupe sia camne, asyik2 auto je. anw, met up old colleagues, thye the engineer, and RE Goh. thye becoming thinner with all the pressure that keeps coming on him from all sides. poor la sia that guy. hahahah. man the site sure have upgraded alot since the 2 plus months i left there. well went there to study the safety procedures of the site with Fahme, and Fairuz for our FYP. still got time to gossip with thye and all about his good companion the site manager, who's reli a pain in the ass. worst, he was from the same kampung in malaysia as thye. hahahahah, that, which thye could not accept. hahahahah. aneway, maight be going there to look again on the updates of the risk assesments implementation and etc. cos all we got was only their safety planning. but doesnt mean what they plan is what they do, but im sure bovis is a freaking safe site, it's won the safety award before and its international, so i guess its one of the perfect site for our FYP case study. and Dollah Kassim gelek still there, he's been given a "spot memoir" of the stadium where he made history, along with the other players and sportsman that made their historical achievements at the stadium on the very spot that led to their success. and and, the fire works was great! = ) . | ||
